Basic Information About NDA 2 2023 Exam

The National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II), 2023 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on September 3, 2023 (Sunday). The exam will be held in two shifts, the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The NDA and NA Examination is a national level exam conducted for admission to the National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Pune and Naval Academy (NA), Ezhimala, Kerala. The exam is open to male and female candidates who are unmarried and born between January 2, 2005 and January 1, 2008.

The NDA and NA Examination consists of two papers:

• Paper 1: Mathematics
• Paper 2: General Ability Test (GAT)

Paper 1 will be of 2 hours duration and will be for 300 marks. It will consist of questions on topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Numerical Ability.

Paper 2 will be of 2 hours duration and will be for 600 marks. It will consist of questions on topics such as English Language, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning.

The minimum qualifying marks for the NDA and NA Examination are 60% in Paper 1 and 30% in Paper 2. The candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the SSB interview. The SSB interview will be of 5 days duration and will consist of various tests such as Psychological Test, Officer Intelligence Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.

The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written exam and SSB interview.
